Ingredients
- 8 ounces goat cheese
- 1 dozen cloves garlic, whole
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Olive oil to cover
- Thyme & black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 195 degrees F
- Put the garlic in a bowl.
- Toss it with ¼ cup of olive oil, making sure each one is well coated.
- Transfer the garlic to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Roast for one hour.
- Remove from the oven.
- Put the garlic and oil into an oven-safe dish, mixing with the goat cheese and any other spices desired.
- Add olive oil until everything is covered
- Place back in the oven.
- Over the next hour, stir the garlic-cheese mixture every 15 minutes
- Remove from the heat and serve.
