Smoked Old Fashioned
A smoky take on a classic cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 2 Orange Peels
- 1 tsp fresh orange juice
- ½ tsp sugar
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 Large Ice cube
- 1 cocktail cherry
- 1 Smoking Gun smoker
- 1 Tbsp hardwood wood chips ((hickory))
Instructions
- Mix together the tsp of orange juice and ½ tsp of sugar
- 4 dashes of bitters until combined.
- Add to your glass with the orange peels and cocktail cherry.
- Add smoke to the glass
- Cover with plastic wrap or a plate.
- Smoke the garnishes and syrup for 90 seconds.
- In a separate glass, pour the pour, add smoke, and cover.
- Smoke the bourbon for 90 seconds.
- Pour the bourbon and the garnishes syrup over the ice cube
- Gently stir to chill.
- Right prior to serving, smoke the entire cocktail for an additional 90 seconds.
