-1/2 cup butter, room temperature (1 stick)
-1 cup sugar
-2 eggs
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1/4 tsp salt
-3 cups flour
-2-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1 cup milk
-6 oz chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
2. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper baking cups. Set aside.

4. In another bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter (or vegetable oil).
5. Pour egg mixture into flour mixture; stir just until moistened.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
