Spicy Cucumber Gin & Tonic

This spiced-up and cucumber-infused variant of the classic gin & tonic will impress any guest.

Ingredients

  • 6oz Hendricks (or any) gin
  • 1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
  • ½ cucumber, peeled and diced into ¼” cubes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Juice of 2 Limes
  • 1.5 cups ice, plus more for serving
  • 12oz cold tonic water
  • Peels from two limes
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • Fresh cucumber wedges, for serving.

Instructions

  • Salt the cucumber and let rest for 15 minutes and drain.
  • Combine gin, jalapeno, cucumber, lime juice, and ice in a shaker and shake well to infuse.
  • Strain the mixture into glasses with ice, and top with cold tonic water.
  • Twist the lime peels over the drinks.
  • Rub the exterior of the peel on the edges of each glass.
  • Serve each drink with a wedge of fresh lime and fresh cucumber.
