Quick Snack: Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Chocolate peanut butter banana bites are the perfect mix of healthy and delicious. These banana bites are perfect for a snack or dessert after a meal. Kids and adults will both love these healthy bites! Try this recipe out in 5 minutes with only three ingredients! Yum!

Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate / choclae chips

Instructions

  • Peel and slice bananas into rounds.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread a bit of peanut butter on half of the banana slices. Take the remaining half of bananas and create sandwiches of banana, peanut butter layer, banana.
  • Freeze peanut butter bananas for about 45 minutes.
  • Melt your chocolate in the microwave or a double broiler. Stirring frequently, not to burn your choclate.
  • Remove bananas from the freezer and dip each frozen banana bite in the chocolate.
  • Place banana bites back on the baking sheet and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  • Store banana bites in the freezer.
