Ingredients

1/4cupof white miso paste miso paste is typically found in the refrigerator section
3tablespoonssoy sauce
2tablespoonssesame oil
2clovesgarlicminced
1/4 teaspoonsred pepper flakes
2teaspoonsfresh gingerminced
sesame seedsfor garnish
gree onionfor garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet.
Mix together miso, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and ginger. Set aside.
Cut the eggplant in half and score it. Slice diagonal lines throughout the eggplant, without cutting all the way through.
Pour sauce on each half of the eggplant. With clean hands, massage the sauce into the eggplant.
