Most people opt to order french toast when they eat out at restaurants, but you can create the same delicious dish at home with just some bread, eggs, milk, and cinnamon sugar. Ingredients
1loafof bread challah, brioche, or white bread
1/2cupmilk
3largeeggs
3 tablespoonsof buttermelted
2 teaspoonsof vanilla extract
1teaspoonof cinannom
1/2cupof maple syrupfor serving
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla. Once well mixed, mix in cinnamon and sugar.
In a medium skillet, melt butter. Dip bread in the egg mixture, and place on skillet. Flip after 5-6 minutes. Cook the other side for 5 minutes.
